M: You're really doing this, aren't you?
W: I don't see why not?
M: I have a few reasons as to why not!
W: You're reasons don't effect my decision, in any way.
M: So you think that moving back with your mother in Chicago will solve this? Let's just talk about this!
W: We've talked about it already, I need this space.
M: But if you love me, like I know you do, you'll stay here. With me.
W: Thats just it Ryan, I don't want to love you anymore. This is the only way I can get my mind off things here. There's just too much that's happened.
M: I will come find you, no matter what it takes, I will prove my love to you.
W: No Ryan. Don't follow me. It wont solve anything.
M: I think you're just going back for Josh, that farmboy lover of yours!
W: If I still loved him, I would have left you a long time ago. I don't cheat, or lie. Unlike some people I know.
M: Do you have to bring this up everytime we talk?
W: Its the reason I'm leaving! So the longer you try to convince me other wise, the more I'll bring it up.
M: This is just ridiculous! I was completely drunk, she took advantage of me!
W: Oh, so my BEST friend in the world would just come on to you like that? I don't buy it. I know where she stands. I know her better than I know you. Or thought I knew you. I still can't believe it.
M: Then don't. Please, try to understand. I love you.
W: If you really love my Ryan, you will leave me alone. Don't try and find me. Don't try to contact me.
M: I don't know that I can do that..
W: I told you not to follow me to the train station, It will just make things harder.
M: Please Esmeralda..
W: Here comes the train. Goodbye Ryan.
I really enjoyed reading this. It was very similar to mine. I was entertained the entire time and enjoyed imagining the breakup between Esmeralda and Ryan.
ReplyDeleteI liked how formal you made the scene. Very 1940s. I liked how you also put the names in there, making it more real and life-like. Very Good.
ReplyDeleteI liked this scene! its something that happens a lot between couples now. It's just like a real life conversation. Very well done.
